Pilates, it said, can be described as “a mind—body exercise that requires core stability, strength, and flexibility, and attention to muscle control, posture, and breathing. Here at Arthritis ACT we offer both Mat and Reformer styles of Pilates.
Mat Pilates
Is a low-impact, floor-based exercise program that focuses on increasing core stability, control, and overall strength. No previous experience in pilates is expected with introductory classes available. Classes are offered at both our Bruce and Pearce office and bookings are essential due to their popularity. Please contact our office for up-to-date details on class times, costings and availability.
Reformer Pilates
Is a low-impact exercise program that focuses on increasing core stability, control, and overall strength through the use of a pilates reformer machine. Use of the pilates reformer machine makes exercise more dynamic and intense through added resistance coming from springs fitted to the machine. Classes are offered in a 1:1 appointment style at our Bruce office only. Bookings are essential due to their popularity. Call or email our office today to find out more, our staff will be happy to assist you.
