Participation in Yoga improves your muscle tone, promotes better breathing habits, reduces stress, improves sleep and enhances and promotes a sense of well-being.
Here at Arthritis ACT’s our yoga program is delivered by a qualified yoga instructor and offered in two styles, Mat Yoga and Chair Yoga.
Mat Yoga
This is the traditional style of yoga performed on the floor/ground with a mat used for comfort.
Chair Yoga
This style of yoga transforms traditional floor based yoga poses so that they can be completed while seated on a chair. This style of yoga suits those that find standing for long periods, moving on and off the floor or, easily from seated positions to be a challenge.
When are classes held?
Our yoga program runs weekly, on a Monday, with all classes available via zoom. Please contact our office for details on times, costs and class availability.
